Hogan's Alley Resurgence

Today I had the chance to attend Hogan’s Alley Resurgence at People’s Park, hosted by the Hogan’s Alley Society.

It was a great afternoon. The artists and performers were incredibly talented, and there was a real mix of music, art, food, local vendors and people from across the community.

Hogan’s Alley is an important part of Vancouver’s history, and one the city did not always treat with the respect it deserved. With major changes coming to this area, we have an opportunity to do things differently.

That means working with the community that has kept this history alive and making sure they have a real voice in what comes next. Vancouver can grow without forgetting the people and communities that helped build it.
