Meet John

John Jones

John Jones grew up in Toronto and has lived in Vancouver, on and off, for four decades, working in tenancy, disability, and human rights advocacy.

He has spent years with different organizations standing up for the justice and dignity of the people he represents: tenants, people with disabilities, and anyone up against a system that is hard to navigate alone.

He moved back to Vancouver for good in 2019 and found a city that had grown divided and harder to live in, and he decided to help fix it.

He knows how City Hall works, and he is running as an independent because he answers to voters, not a party. He wants a Vancouver that is safer and more livable for everyone, and that looks after what it already has.
